That feels like help finding a piece of American literature [either a story or a novel]?
Okay, so I need a piece of the American literature [by an American author], which can display these qualities: Horror – Psychilogical or "Blood 'n Guts" or simply a famous piece, exclusion … Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, anything by EA Poe, Dickenson and Whitman. The most important thing is that it takes to be American classic! Thanks beforehand!
If you only need a title and the author seems to already have some good answers. If you need to check something, however, you can find The full text of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain online SparkNotes. Ernest Hemingway (another great American writer) think Huckleberry Finn was the standard by which all the novels written then should be measured. Many argue that The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is the greatest novel of the United States. There are plenty of psychological and visceral horror in American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis.
