The book "angry all the time: An emergency guide to anger control" is a classic bestseller that has helped tens of thousands of people overcome their problems with anger. The book's author, Ron Potter-Efron, Ph.D., is a clinical psychotherapist in private practice with a special focus on anger management. Then in the second section, "taking actions", learn powerful, step by step strategies for altering their anger provoke thoughts and regain control over their behavior. And the book is divided into short segments related to specific issues of anger.
Potter-Efron uses the image of a ladder to explain that anger may start as something small, such as frustration and mild irritation. However, if unchecked, can grow slowly, until one day you're so high on the scale that you can not just jump. You have to climb again in the same way up: a step at a time. Here are the eleven rules to help you climb back up the stairs:
1. Take time out.
2. Wipe that look of your face and relax.
3. Stop trying to control others.
4. Accept difference.
5. Ask, no demand.
6. Reward, not punish or threaten.
7. Speak softly and not I swear.
8. Being accountable for everything they say and do.
9. Treat others with respect.
10. Tell others what bothers you. Be direct, specific, and courteous.
11. Use "I".
This book is not just for people who often lose his temper, is also for friends and loved ones. It is very difficult to be near a person usually angry. Living with someone who is always angry can involve all of the following: being the brunt of the criticism endless tantrums have to endure ridicule, and being hurt, even sense of fear.
