The benefits of reading are as varied as the types of books are not available today. Besides being a fundamental requirement to complete the first years of schooling, the benefits of reading are many.
The ability to read comes with the ability to understand and comprehend the world around us. Remember that the mandatory reading list was in school? At the time may have seemed less important to their development, but the truth is it was one of the most important aspects of their education early.
The ability to learn new things and extract meaning from words on paper to keep the brain agile, young and healthy. As the story unfolds between the covers of a book dedicated to our imagination and transport us to almost a completely different world.
If you enjoy fiction, nonfiction, literature classical or popular literature, there is no denying that some of the world's most important authors have had any influence on his favorite author.
Here is a brief list of some of the greatest authors of all time, in no particular order:
Count Leo Tolstoy – Anna Karenina and War and Peace are by far the greatest works of Tolstoy. And even with just these two books would be considered a great author, but he continued to pen other great works, too. These books painted a vivid portrait of 19th century Russian life and attitudes. Tolstoy also wrote essays and plays. The war and peace is generally considered the best novel of all time.
Fyodor Dostoyevsky – There's something about 19th century Russian writers. Crime Epic Dostoevsky and Punishment and The Brothers Karamazov in accordance with the spiritual and political problems of the 19th century Russia. Dostoevsky is often considered the best psychologist in writing, as his novels explore the human condition and human psychology of the times of his novels.
William Shakespeare – probably one of the best known names in the great literature, the nickname of William Shakespeare's The Bard (or the Bard of Avon), for its beauty and poetry world-famous plays. In fact, during time was considered a genius and his works were requested by some of the most elite of Europe. In fact, the Victorian era as Shakespeare liked her worship was described by George Bernard Shaw as "Bardolatry. Today his works have been translated into every major living languages. Some of his best known works drama Romeo and Juliet, a Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet and Julius Caesar. While it was thought to borrow a lot of ideas from other authors, was the first author to collect a massive amount of writing and producing some of the best poetry, prose and drama in the world has ever seen.
Charles Dickens – The author is probably one of the authors humor if not beloved by all ages. His books paint living characters and their characters are lovable, relatable and timeless. Who does not know the names of Oliver Twist, David Copperfield or Pip (from his book Great Expectations). Its iconic characters his novels have won the popularity they have never off the press.
